Attaching Thread - Visual Reference

Below you will find a simple 3 step method to start the thread on the hook with minimal thread buildup.

1.  Start off by wrapping the thread over the hook once.



2.  Wrap the thread over the tag end 3 or 4 times.  Overlapping is vital!



3.  Once the thread has overlapped it's tag end at least 4 times, apply slight pressure on the bobbin to make sure there is no slippage.  If all is set trim away the tag.
